Blacksmith Week 2025 August 14th – 17th

Please join us in beautiful Government Camp, Oregon for CCAC Blacksmith Week 2024.

The 2025 event is scheduled for August (11th)14th – 17th.

Demonstrators scheduled are:

Mark Aspery, Hunter Dahlberg, Joe Elliott, Anton Yakushev, & Ben Czyhold with Public Demonstrations
CCAC Blacksmiths Darryl Nelson and Joe Vachon will be on hand as well.

Mark Aspery will be kicking off the event with 2 classes starting August 11th (offered here-separate ticket required for this class, limited to 6 participants) Level 1: Gate Latch

This event is open to any and all interested in Blacksmithing and takes place in beautiful Government Camp Oregon.

2 Day Mokume class with Joe Elliot August 14th and 15th

Kick off Blacksmith Week with a 2 day class with Bend artist Joe Elliot.

Classes will be from 9-2 Wednesday August 14th and Thursday August 15th

Class fee: $350 or bundle with Blacksmith Week registration fee for $400

Mokume class

Day 1: make a billet using copper and brass

Day 2: cut the billet to approximately 1/2’x1/2″x3″ pieces for each student to forge

Each Student will have enough material to make several bracelets or a bunch for
earrings, pendants, knife guards, or whatever. Pattern development will
be discussed at the beginning of day 2.

Anton Yakushev (Bend, Oregon) Demos
Mark Manly (Coos Bay, OR) Demos 8/16 – 8/18
Ben Czyhold (Walla Walla, Washington) Public Demonstrations 8/16 and 8/17
CCAC Blacksmiths Darryl Nelson and Joe Vachon will be on hand as well
This event is open to any and all interested in Blacksmithing and takes place in beautiful Government Camp Oregon.
